NIH Extramural Research Facilities Construction Centralized Pharmacogenomics and Toxicogenomics, Animal Facility, and PHS Center of Excellence

The UCSD School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SPPS) submitted an extramural research facilities construction proposal to NIH in January 2003. We have been advised that the NIH has assigned our proposal a very good priority score. We hope to hear about anticipated funding by October 1st.

The $3.4 million grant would be used to double the size of the animal-related and core facilities in the Vivarium, producing much needed support for our faculty's research programs.
