Research Summary:
Dr. Singh is currently a faculty preceptor at the UCSD Family Medicine Clinics and is a Chair of the first year Pharmacy Practice course, which focuses on non-prescription (OTC) medications. Her clinical expertise is in ambulatory medicine, and in previous positions she has initiated and developed clinics in Pharmacotherapy, Tobacco Cessation, and Diabetes Management. In addition, she has practiced in an Asthma Clinic, Anticoagulation Clinic, Geriatric Assessment Team, and an Adult Internal Medicine Clinic. Dr. Singh has established a weekly pharmacist/student-managed Medicare Part D Clinic at the UCSD Family Medicine Clinic (Hillcrest) where she assists seniors with Medicare Part D plans to optimize their medication regimens and reduce their medication costs. She is also collaborating with the UCSD Internal Medicine Group to initiate a Diabetes Self-Management Education Clinic on a weekly basis.

Education: B.Pharm. and Diploma in Hospital Pharmacy University of Sydney, Australia; Pharm.D., University of Iowa; Pharmacy Practice Residency, UCSF; Certified in Physical Assessment in Patient Care Management, Nova Southeastern University; Smoking Cessation (APhA), and Immunization Delivery.
Awards and Honors: Faculty and Staff Excellence Award, UCSD SSPPS Class of 2006; UCSD Student-Run Free Clinic Pharmacy Faculty Leadership Award; Teacher of the Year, Wayne State University, Michigan; Member of Rho Chi Honor Society.
Leadership Experience: Tri-State Young Pharmacists Leadership Group.
