Seven-Year B.S. Chemistry/Doctor of Pharmacy Program

Overview

The UC San Diego Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry and SSPPS are proud to offer an accelerated seven-year program to UC San Diego Pharmacological Chemistry majors through which eligible students will earn their B.S. degree and Pharm.D. in seven years, a process which normally takes at least eight. Students in the program will complete their first three years of undergraduate studies and will then complete all four years of the Pharm.D. program. Their first year of the Pharm.D. program will serve as their fourth year of undergraduate studies, and their B.S. degree will confer at the end of that year.

This program is currently only available to UC San Diego students who start at the freshman level; neither transfer, non-UC San Diego, nor second baccalaureate students are currently eligible for this program.
