On May 13th, 2023, SSPPS held the Class of 2023 Commencement Ceremony. For some of these students, this was the first time they had seen each other in person in a few years. Hugs and laughs were shared as they reminisced the last few years as well as chatted about the impending new beginnings post-pharmacy school. Many faculty and staff were present to cheer on the graduates as they crossed the stage to receive their diplomas in front of their loved ones. We are delighted to announce that the Class of 2023 had an 80% PGY1 Residency match rate. The remainder of the class will be starting roles in our essential community pharmacies, or completing fellowships or industry roles either locally or nationally. You are all rock stars! During the last four years, you have proven your resilience, displayed professionalism, and presented a deep passion for promoting public health. You have been a fun class to watch grow into pharmacy professionals.
To the Class of 2023, the faculty and staff are incredibly proud of your accomplishments during your time here at SSPPS and look forward to hearing about your future successes as you become leaders of the pharmacy profession.
