Receipt of Offer of Admission (timeline varies based on interview date)
- Attend a Financial Aid Information Session
  - Sign-up links will be included in your offer letter.
- Complete the Financial Aid Estimate Form
  - This helps determine your estimated need-based aid eligibility.
  - The form link will be provided in your offer letter.
- Schedule a One-on-One Meeting with a Financial Aid Counselor
  - Get a personalized estimate of your financial aid package and explore cost comparisons between programs.
March-May
- Submit the FAFSA
  - Required for federal and state financial aid consideration.
- Submit the UC San Diego Supplemental Financial Aid Application
  - Recommended if you’re seeking need-based aid.
  - The form link will be provided to incoming students when it is available.
June
- Attend the Incoming Health Sciences Student Financial Aid Presentation
  - Learn about financial aid resources and next steps.
  - The presentation link will be provided to incoming students in the weeks prior.
July
- Accept Your Official Financial Aid Award
  - Review and confirm your aid package through our student portal.
  - Instructions will be provided to incoming students.
September
- Official Financial Aid Award Disbursements
  - Financial aid funds are released to incoming students in accordance with their finalized award package.
  - Instructions will be provided to incoming students to ensure proper access and applications of their funds through the student portal.
