Mission
The Office for Students with Disabilities (OSD) at UC San Diego is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive community while promoting equitable access and opportunities for students with disabilities. In alignment with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and through close collaboration with students, faculty, and staff, we coordinate tailored accommodations to meet each student’s unique needs. We are committed to advocating for accessibility, empowering students to self-advocate, and ensuring that students have equal opportunities to thrive in all aspects of campus life.
Rosezetta is the Director for Disability Services in Health Sciences and meets with students with disabilities individually to help them navigate and understand the process of implementing reasonable accommodations to provide equitable access for them to fully participate in the pharmacy school curriculum and campus activities.
How do I Register?
- Complete an OSD Intake form
- Complete an OSD Consent form
- Have your provider complete the appropriate Forms for Medical Professionals - if you do not have this documentation now at this time, we can discuss this matter further during your appointment
- Documentation can be submitted by email to osd@ucsd.edu or via fax at 858.534.4650.

FAQs
Are accommodations kept confidential?
Accommodations are only shared on a need to know basis related to implementation. Details of your disability is not shared. If you have any questions or concerns regarding who will have access to your accommodations, please reach out to Rosezetta.
Is there a deadline to request my accommodations?
As accommodations are not retroactive and can take time to arrange, it is in your best interest to request accommodations as soon as possible, preferably before the start of the quarter. For clinical accommodations, reaching out at least 3-4 weeks in advance of the term is recommended as implementation processes can vary based on the location of the rotation. However, you are able to register or request accommodations at any time. If you have any questions or concerns about the registration timeline you are encouraged to reach out to Rosezetta.
