Many healthcare sites, including UC San Diego Health sites, use EPIC medical record software to access, organize, store, and share medical records. All students are assigned to a training course for EPIC, and are given access to the EPIC system (and EPIC Willow) during the fall quarter of their P1 year.
If the account is not logged into every 20 days, a block is automatically placed on the account.
If you are unable to access your account, please call the IT Help Desk at 619-543-4357, and they can quickly remove the block. This service desk is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Training resources, including “EPIC Training for Student Pharmacists,” “Joining My Chart video visits,” and “How to Access UCSD Health EPIC Remotely from your Laptop” are available for review in the Experiential Education course shell on Canvas, under the heading “Electronic Medical Record Access.”
