Panteha Kelly is a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist at the Department of Pharmacy at UC San Diego. She is also an assistant clinical professor (NS) at UC San Diego Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SSPPS) and is Board-Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist, Advanced Practice Pharmacist, and Certified Diabetes Educator. In addition to being the coordinator of the program she also practices as a diabetes educator within the UC San Diego Health system. At these sites, she has been an active preceptor for APPE students since 1996, as well as community pharmacy residents and ambulatory care residents since 2009. Considered an expert in her field, she has been invited to present on a variety of diabetes related topics for national, state and local pharmacy and medical audiences.

Co-founded and established a successful American Association of Diabetes Educators accredited Diabetes Self-Management program for UC health system which currently operates within 7 medicine practices including women’s health and endocrinology department.
